Jade Osiberu’s Sugar Rush makes a solid comeback following a week of suspension from cinemas nationwide. In a video posted this evening, casts of the widely anticipated movie revealed that the comedy packed hit film is back on screens.
This announcement is made a few days after the National Film &Video Censors Board (NFVCB) ordered that the movie be suspended from cinemas due to insufficient approval by the board, even though Nollywood critics speculates that the suspension was hinged on the poor portrayal of the EFCC in the movie.

The Nigerian action comedy was written and directed by Kayode Kasum. Sugar Rush tells of the escapades of 3 young ladies, the sugar sisters, who discovered a disturbing amount of money ($800,000) and as they try to finesse their way out of the situation, the Financial Crimes Commission and alledged owners of the money came for them.
Premiered on the 25th of Decemeber 2019, the movie features casts like Banky W, and his wife Adesua Etomi, Bisola Aiyeola, Uzor Arukwe,Toke Makinwa, Bimbo Ademoye and a host of others, shortly after its release it was named the fifth highest grossing movie of 2019.
