Afro dancehall artiste and “Tropicaana” crooner Christopher Omenye who goes by the stage name Yung L has just released his third studio project titled; Juice & Zimm; The Playlist. The release comes after his last body of work Jollification and a one year hiatus from the music scene.
The 6-track studio project comprises of a rich blend of extensive African sounds. Having mastered the nuances of the Afro dancehall genre, Yung L enlisted Ghana’s foremost rapper Sarkodie, vocal queen of the east, Vanessa Mdee and Nigeria’s very own Tay Iwar to deliver spectacular sonic performances on the EP.
Formerly signed on to Chocolate City Music, he also declared on his page saying; “My last project as Yung L, so enjoy the last days”
As evident in the production, composition and delivery of each track on the EP, L successfully finesses his way into the hearts of many to be loved yet again.
Yung L was a member of now defunct music group Grip Boiz made up of music producer, Chopstix, J.Milla, Ice Prince and Endia.
