Rema’s Acting Debut Lands Him A Robber Role(WATCH)

Rema

Fast-rising Nigerian Pop artiste Rema is showing the full yards of the talent he embodies with his latest acting debut on Rema’s Realm.

Having had a good run in 2019, getting his first big break with popular club anthems like Dumebi, Corny, Lady and bagging his first industry award at the Soundcity Music Awards, Rema strikes again with a disruptive yet intriguing ground for why he is still gaining all the attention.

Rema
The Short-film which was premiered today highlights Rema and his gang robbing a store, which is no way a departure from his recently released EP titled-Bad Commando, explicitly showing his bad boy narrative as he furthers the story.

The first episode opens up to the introduction of his gangster persona, driving fast cars, as he admits that “In These Streets, There’s No Love And We’re Exposed To Bad Influence”. The young shot is seen showing prospects of an intending star, although we are not sold out on his acting skills as the story is still very much developing, this may just lead him on the path of other explorative ventures.

One thing is sure though, Rema holds out an immersive singing capability whilst being tutored by Don Jazzy chairing the management of Africa’s biggest Music label-Mavin Records.
