American rapper, Lil Wayne has just won himself a lot more Nigerian fans after he revealed that he was 53% Nigerian.
He made this known during an interview with Rapper N.O.R.E. and DJ EFN who both host the ‘Drink Champ’ show on Revolt TV.
When N.O.R.E. him why he mentioned Nigeria in the lyrics of one of his hit songs, he replied: “Shout out to Nigeria, I did my 23 and me ancestry dot com and my shit came back like 53% Nigerian. Yea! Me and my mum need to have a talk.”
The news has caused a stir on Twitter Nigeria as the ever-hilarious Nigerians have found a way to turn this into a trending topic.
