Few days after Nigerian pop star Davido came out to publicly reveal that his fiancee Chioma tested positive for coronavirus, controversial journalist Kemi Olunloyo reacts to the news chastising them.
Since the announcement broke the internet, so many people have been shocked by the news, including celebrities who have gone on to shower prayers of solidarity and healing on them. Davido also shared that they have all gone into self-isolation.
Now, investigative journalist as Kemi Olunloyo prefers to be called disclosed via her twitter page that she warned David and his crew in particular in the wake of the pandemic. According to her Davido was to immediately cancel his A Good Time tour as they stood a greater risk of exposure to the virus.
Taking a defensive stance, she lamented that it was very clear in her message that she directed to Davido and his first baby mama Sophie Momodu days ago before Chioma tested positive but it all fell on deaf ears because nobody ever listens to her.
Admittedly, so many critics have jumped on the issue with insinuations that Davido and his crew were very reckless, putting so many lives in danger. Sources reported that upon his arrival to Nigeria after canceling his tour, David traveled to Oyo state, where he later partied with a group of people.
The counts of irresponsibility were further obvious when he came back to Lagos and they held a party for his label mate Mayorkun to celebrate his birthday.
