Days after the Nigeria Center for Disease Control and the Lagos State Ministry of Health announced that attendees of the recently held AMVCA were exposed to a confirmed case of coronavirus, comedian, funnybone plans to take legal action on the attendee.
Stanley Chibunna popularly referred to as Funnybone won the award for the best actor in a comedy at the 7th edition of the Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards which was attended by a handful of celebrities.
The confirmed case which has been identified as Seun O a documentary photographer who arrived from London showed up for the event despite having symptoms of the disease and Funnybone who completed the 14-day requirement Isolation has threatened to sue him(Seun) when he recovers.
This he made known to the public via his Instagram page saying thus;
“14days after AMVCA and I kept getting calls from family and friends asking me the same question, Stanley hope you are good? Are you coughing? Well, I am not showing any symptoms yet and I won’t by his grace. I did the test finally and it came out NEGATIVE. So fam I am well, alive and safe. Stay safe and be safe,” he wrote.
“Meanwhile before I forget Oga SEUN who arrived from London sick and yet decided to turn up for AMVCA. Pls get well soon o and recover fast if nobody will. I will personally sue you to court. But first get will soon you hear.
Recall that the internet went into panic mode when the news broke with so many thoughts of the travesty of what could happen. The 2020 Africa Movie Viewers’ Choice (AMVCA) held at the Eko Hotels & Suites on Saturday, March 14, 2020, brought thousands of Nigerians from different walks of life.
