Reggae Dancehall artiste, Cynthia Morgan has made a public service announcement in regard to her timeout from the music industry. The singer who was reckoned to have had a flamboyant run in her career took a rather unexpected pause from the scene.
It became noticeable that Cynthia was gone for a while when questions of her presence were posed recurrently. She was famed for hit tracks such as; “Simatiniya”, “I’m Taken,” “German Juice,” and “Come and Do” and “Lead Me On.”
In a recent viral interview, with Sydney Shocker on ‘LunchTime Friday’, Cynthia who was signed to Jude Okoye led North Side INC Label shared why she took a break from music. According to her, she was ill for a very long time and had family issues. She added that things were very hard for her and eventually broke down.
She said: ‘Its been like a roller coaster for me. I took ill, I was really sick. When I changed my name, I had a lot of family issues. I had like a breakdown. So it was really hard for me…I actually went back to the studio but I wasn’t done, I still had to come back,”
