At the climax of creative display is show business and during this time a lot of entertainers and content creators are busy doing what they know how to do best – creating artistic materials.
For the entertainment space that has taken a major hit due to the pandemic, musicians are still very much making most of the situation by dishing out music content for their fanbase.
This has also engineered an influx of music especially for the Nigerian music industry, and at the center of all the buzz of musical content has been Mavin label which is chaired by veteran Michael Ajere, also known as Don Jazzy.
In a loose conversation that happened on twitter, he also stated why he always goes the extra mile to promote all his artistes across his social media platforms.
Whenever a Mavin act releases a new song, Don Jazzy swings into action and promises them more than any influencer could.
Jazzy is not just their boss but also their hypeman and so far he has been doing a terrific job in promoting Ladipoe‘s “Know You” and Korede Bello‘s “Mi casa us casa”.
A fan impressed with the way he promotes his artistes took to Twitter to praise his efforts. “@DONJAZZY, you de really try for this your artist o since Mohits, omo past week it was Rema and Ladipoe, this week its Korede. Omo u b Big Man, More grace”.
Don jazzy then responded saying that the funny thing about their business is that acting big can make you go hungry.
Quoting Ladipoe, he said that one has to hustle like a wedding guest because the food doesn’t always reach every table.
He wrote: “Funny thing is that in this our business, bigmanism/bigwomanism can make you go hungry.
“Like @ladipoe will say you have to hustle like a wedding guest cos we all know small chops don’t make it to every table. #Micasasucasa –
