Nigerian singer, Augustine Miles Kelechi popularly known as Tekno has released a new single to shed light on the current socio-economic situation, corruption and poverty in Nigeria.
The amazing single titled ‘Sudden’ was produced by Spax and released to also spread positive vibes amidst the current Coronavirus, COVID-19, pandemic.In the song,
Tekno not only displayed his empathy for Nigeria, while higlighting how ‘all of a sudden’, the pandemic caused Nigerians and other people in the world plunge into state of poverty.
“Sudden” is Tekno’s latest release since “Kata” which he dropped in April.
CANDIIDONLINE reports that Tekno had promised his fans via his Instagram page that he would be releasing new music throughout the quarantine period so that “they have something fresh to hear.”
The latest single has continued to draw commendation from Tekno’s fans across major social media platforms.
Many have described “Sudden” as a song through Tekno expressed his thoughtfulness and sense of patriotism for Nigeria.
“Finally, a celebrity is voicing our pains,” a fan said.
However, this song is not Tekno’s first socially conscious music.
He had previously spoken out against the ills of the society.
This he did with “Rara” in 2016.
“Rara”, which he released undee Tripple MG record label talked about and condemned the suffering in Nigeria.
“Rara” produced by Selebobo just like “Sudden” came at a time when Nigerians needed succour during difficult times.
