Award-winning singer and songwriter, Waje has reacted to report of Clarence Peters being questioned by the police over popular dancer, Kodak’s death.
Waje took to her Instagram page to speak on the unfortunate incident.
According to her, she has known Clarence for 10 years and has much respect for him as he has built job opportunities for young people in entertainment.
Recall CANDIIDONLINE reported yesterday that the ace music video director was questioned over the incident which happened in his apartment.
Clarence Peters and others who were present at the time of the unfortunate incident were invited by the police. Waje who reacted to the report described it as a ‘sad situation’.
She added that as the Nigerian Police carry out their investigations, it’s important to be careful in communication and also understand his rights and that of other Nigerians.
She wrote; “I have known Clarence for more than 10 years and this is just a sad situation. You have built and constantly still building job opportunities for young people in entertainment. My prayers go to my brother @clarenceshotit.
“As the Nigerian Police carry out their investigations, it’s important to be careful in communication and understand and respect the rights of this man and every other Nigerian. And I pray comfort for Kodaks family. And to my friend @jbeautyfull This too shall pass”.
Waje joins a list of Nigerian celebrities who have come out to speak about the issue with so many vouching for Clarence Peter and demanding his immediate release.
So far there’s been rising controversies on the case as Clarence has debunked rumors of being charged for murder.
Clarence Peter is reckoned for having contributed to the film and music industry, with over 15 years of experience in video and film directing and production.
His portfolio includes video production for the likes of Chidinma, Psquare, Wizkid, Tekno, Tiwa Savage, Davido.
