Popular Nigerian musician, Azeez Fashola better known as Naira Marley, has once again aired his views on why people need to put God first in everything they do.
According to him, anyone who puts God first in everything he or she does will never be last in life.
He made this known in a tweet where he wrote;
“Put God first and you will never be last,” Naira Marley admonished.
This advice seems to be a sequel to the singer’s call on his followers to be prayerful so as to receive whatever they desire.
Quoting the Muslim Prophet Muhammad, Naira Marley preached: “Whatever is asked for at the time of breaking of the fast is granted and never refused.”
As truthful as Naira Marley’s sermon may be, this spiritual side of him keeps many observers wondering, if the self-acclaimed leader of the Marlians, a group which prides itself on being ‘mannerless’, will dump the movement.
But the musician says “After Ramadan, you’ll see Marlians. #Mafo. As Marlians, we fear God,” indicating that he is still far from dumping the movement.
