BET Award winning Nigerian artiste, Burna Boy has delivered a message to Africans around the world as he shares Fela Anikulapo-Kuti’s handwritten letter.
In the letter, the Afrobeat legend appealed for Africans to unite.
Burna Boy who’s known to pioneer the message of African unity and solidarity took to his social media pages to share the handwritten letter made by the late King of Afrobeat, Fela Anikulapo-Kuti.
The letter which was addressed on a Kalakuta Limited letterhead shows Fela Anikulapo-Kuti as Chairman and Beko Ransome-Kuti as Managing Director.
The message read in part:
“It is my view that African children, African youth, and if possible, older Africans should now start to think positively towards this important ideology that, ‘Africa music unites.’
Sharing the photo, the self-acclaimed African Giant reposted of his mum’s speech during the BET awards, which served as a reminder to blacks that they are first Africans before anything else.
Burna Boy wrote:
