Ghanaian actress and video vixen, Akuapem Poloo is causing a stir online after she decided to go completely nude in a photoshoot with her son to celebrate him on his 7th birthday.
Sharing the photo to her Instagram page, the actress explained her decision in a touching post, saying she decided to go naked in front of her son because she gave birth to him naked.
She wrote ‘Son, today reminds me of the very day I gave birth to you with no stress and with no regret…. 30th June 2013 exactly 4:46am Sunday.
“Ha-ha, I still remember this date because it’s really meant a lot to me, I only felt the 30 minutes pain when you were turning to come out. You were so good to me.
“I gave birth with no complication, no cut, no disability. Ha-ha, I love you son. You see how you’re looking at me always remember that I love you.
“I’m naked in front of you because this is how naked I was giving birth to you, so in case you find me naked, lying somewhere, don’t pass by me but rather see me as your mom who brought you to life.
“HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU.’
The controversial Ghanaian actress made entertainment headlines last year for coming to a CARDI B’s meet and greet with Ghanaian artist uninvited and ended up acting in an unprofessional way, thereby making the Ghana entertainment industry a full joke by everyone who watched in and outside the country.
Ghanaian singer Becca who organized the meet and greet revealed she personally invited some of the Ghanaian celebrities who were present at the controversial Cardi B ‘meet & greet’ event.
Some female celebrities thronged the Kempinski Hotel for a meet and greet session with Cardi B which the ‘Bodak Yellow’ rapper failed to show up.
Most of the celebrities took to social media to register their displeasure at the rapper for not showing up, which most of them felt was disrespectful.
However, reacting to the whole fiasco, singer Becca who was among the celebs present at the Kempinski hotel for the said ‘meet & greet’ disclosed she invited a few of the celebs who were seen at the event.
The ‘Yes, I Do’ singer told Andy Dosty in an interview on Hitz FM, that she was told to call on few colleagues in the showbiz industry to ‘meet & greet’ Cardi B.
According to her, she invited Moesha Buduong, Efia Odo, Eno Barony and a few others.
When asked if she invited Akuapem Poloo she said “I didn’t invite her, but I wasn’t surprised to see her”
This statement by Becca generated another phase of trolling for Akuapem Poloo who people perceived as a wannabe and not a good model for the industry.
Instead of dimming out, she used the controversy and mockery to her own advantage by focusing more on her music and acting career not forgetting the entrepreneur side of her with the massive sales of her “sexy poloo honey”.
