Popular Nollywood actress, Ruth Kadiri has supported Pastor Adeboye’s message in which he stated that a man is the head and the woman should be submissive to him.
CANDIID ONLINE recalls that the General Overseer of The Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Adeboye shared a message while celebrating his wife on her 72nd birthday saying that the husband is the head of the wife.
According to Adeboye “The husband is the head of the wife. No matter how educated or successful you are, your husband is your head and you must regard him as such at all times.
“It is a terrible thing for the husband to feel that his wife is his head. Many men are misbehaving in their marriage because they want to establish that they are the head of their wives”.
Supporting Adeboye’s message, Ruth Kadiri shared on her Twitter page;
“Pastor Adeboye isn’t lying at all. The Bible clearly states that man is the head and the woman should be submissive to him. Don’t drag the position with a man, he will respect you for that. No man wants to lose that position or be denied of it.”
Similarly, days ago the actress shared a message for African men who ridiculed American actor, Will Smith for the way he managed his wife, Jada Pinkett’s affair with the singer, August Alsina.
Ruth stressed on the importance of forgiveness in a relationship as she expressed “Have you noticed that it’s mostly African men who ridiculed Will Smith for forgiving his wife’s situation.
To the women who laugh at Will and her situation, you know you wish you had a man who got you like that, but you don’t and shit hurts,” she wrote.
Kadiri ventured into Nollywood in the movie Boys Cot and since then has over fifty movies to her credit.
As a screenwriter, she has written and co-written several movies, including Matters Arising, Heart of a Fighter, Ladies Men, Sincerity, First Class, and Over the Edge.
Ruth also produced films such as Matters Arising, Over the Edge, Somebody Lied and Memory Lane, which deals with the issue of lies and deceit.
