Nigerian actress, Tricia Eseigbe-Kelly, and her husband, Kingsley Kelly, have welcomed their first child together after 10 years of marriage.
The announcement of the baby arrival was made by her friend and colleague, Monalisa Chinda via Instagram on earlier today.
Chinda captioned the post;
It was a double Celebration yesterday when the news came to me of your new bundle of Joy..@tricia_eseigbe_kerry Congratulations dearest sister. Praying, crying, anticipating, mixed feelings… we worked through this process together. God is just Awesome!”
Confirming the news about the birth of her first child, the excited Tricia Eseigbe wrote;
I want to thank everyone for the birthday wishes I received yesterday and a Joyous birthday gift that I received from our Almighty father. The birth of my Angelic Baby Girl. On the eve of my birthday, I went into labor and hours into my birthday celebration God blessed my family with this wonderful gift, which we have waited over 10 years for.
“We say thank you to God Almighty, and thank you to our well-wishers for the out-pour of emotions.
“For those that have been on the same journey with me, Keep Hope Alive, God is well able to deliver your bundle of joy the same way He did for me.
“From the Kerry’s, thank you to everyone for your support and prayers. Also, Special Thank you To Dr. SHARON And Dr. OGUNKIELE (Super British And Canadian Trained Doctors). Instruments That God Used. (Their Stories Loading)”
Eseigbe is a Nollywood actress who became famous for her talk show ‘Bold Faces’ where she interviewed Nigerian footballers both at home and abroad.
She revealed in an interview that her first meeting with her husband was in 1999 on the set of a movie called Live Wire.
While on set, they developed a friendship that was sustained even after the movie was completed.
When asked about, what the attraction was, Tricia responded that “His personality, ideology, and love for God. I always prayed to God for a man that I would be able to relate to.
Looking at our professional and private lives, we had a lot in common, so it was easy to become attracted to him”.“I wanted my marriage to be built around our religious beliefs and that is what we have done.
Also, there is nothing to change when you marry a man you have a lot in common with. We are fine the way we are and I thank God for that; we can only get better by His grace” she concluded.
The actress and her hubby, Kelly tied the knot officially in 2009.
Similarly, CANDIID ONLINE recalls that Nollywood actor Browny Igboegwu revealed how he was mocked and advised to get another woman pregnant when he and his wife had no child after 10 years of marriage.
A part of his post reads;
“All these and so many others were the words from people’s mouth, you can imagine how I felt all these while, hearing all these from both people who feel my pain and those who mock me.
“I silently took it to God in prayer and today, my wife and I have reason to say thank you lord. Congratulations @becky_browny.”
