Yemi Osinbajo Shows Major Love To Dolapo Osinbajo On Her Birthday With Sweet Twitter Post

The wife of Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, Oludolapo, is celebrating her birthday today and it was marked at midnight with prayer and praise.

The pictures that surfaced online captured the Vice President and his wife praying, as he went further to shower sweet words to her on social media.

Taking to her Instagram page, Oludolapo wrote; “Praise. Prayers. Flowers. Cake at midnight. I thank God for another year.”While Osinbajo in a Twitter post shared
adorable words.

He described her a best friend that is brave, beautiful, kind and also reiterated his love for  her.

“Happy Birthday to our best friend and my darling… brave, beautiful, and kind.

I love you. Yemi” he wrote.

Recall that some months ago, Dolapo also took to social media to gush about her husband.

In her first post, she revealed that the family stayed awake till past midnight to witness the first hour of her husband’s birthday.

She later went on to share prayers seeking God’s blessing on her husband as he embarks on another 365 days in the land of the living.

She wrote: “God bless you on your birthday and forever my special treasure.

As your days, so shall your strength be in Jesus’ name, amen.” In a second post on Instagram shared loved up photos of herself and her husband.


Like the first post, this also carried prayer for the celebrant whom she fondly called her special treasure.

“God bless you on your birthday and forever my special treasure. As your days, so shall your strength be in Jesus’ name, Amen,” she said.

Dolapo Osinbajo was born on 15 July 1967 and grew up in Ikenne. She is a granddaughter of Obafemi Awolowo, the Nigerian nationalist and Yoruba Chief, and his wife Hannah Idowu Dideolu Awolowo, through Awolowo’s daughter Ayodele Soyode (née Awolowo).

She married Yemi Osinbajo, a distant cousin, on 25 November 1989 and in 1990 she was called to the Nigerian Bar.

Dolapo Osinbajo is the Executive Director of The Women’s Helping Hand Initiative, a refuge facility in Epe, Lagos, established in 2014, and a co-founder of the Orderly Society Trust.
