The family of pregnant YouTube star, Nicole Thea has revealed the likely cause of her death before her due date.
Recall that a statement was released via social media pleading for privacy as they struggle to cope with the sad news.
Her family confirmed the deaths in an Instagram post to her page Sunday.
The post stated that Thea’s partner, dancer Jeffery Frimpong, who is also known as Global Boga, will post a few YouTube videos that Thea had made.
“To all Nicole’s friends and supporters it is with great sadness that I have to inform you that Nicole and her son, she and Boga named Reign sadly passed away on Saturday morning,” the statement read.
“As a family, we ask that you give us privacy because our hearts are truly broken and we are struggling to cope with what has happened.
Thank you her mum RIP My beautiful baby girl Nicnac and my grandson Reign, I will miss you for the rest of my life until we meet again in eternal heaven. Xxx.”
Thea’s Uncle, Charles Murray told Mail Online that the likely cause of her death was a suspected heart attack.
He said: “We think she had a massive heart attack. It first happened in her house, and she was telling her partner that she had pains in her chest and her back.
“Nicole said she was struggling to breathe and had a pain in her chest.”
He described her death as a shock which has shaken the family as she was so young.
Murray added that Nicole before her death has no underlying health problems and maintained a healthy lifestyle.
“It is terrible. But we won’t know for sure until we have the post-mortem.”
The 24-year-old dancer and YouTube star was weeks away from her giving birth to her son when she died unexpectedly on July 11.
