Ned Nwoko Goes To Court After A Journalist Reported He Is A Cultist

American based Nigerian journalist Azuka Jebose Molokwu earlier in the week made a report alleging that Nigerian Billionaire Ned Nwoko was a cultist.

The journalist made this bold claim after Ned stated that he married all his wives as virgins.

Based on what the journalist said, Ned has dragged the journalist to court as he has slapped him with a N2billion lawsuit.

The court order was obtained from the Effurun High Court, Delta State on behalf of Ned Nwoko by his counsel, Ikhide Ehighelua and Co which has the date, July 13, 2020.

There is a second defendant in the case and he is in the person of Prince Chukwunonso Nwoko who is reportedly the employer and sponsor of the first defendant, Jebose.

The suit revealed that both defendants made some unqualified defamatory comments on several online blog posts and other social media platforms that were aimed at causing great damage to Ned’s hard-earned reputation.

The legal action, according to Ned’s lawyer became very necessary to serve as a warning to any who plans to defame him once again.

However, the alleged cultist, Ned Nwoko, is also seeking a plea from the two defendants in the case.

Prince Ned Nwoko is a Nigerian lawyer, politician and humanitarian. He was a member of the House of Representatives between 1999 and 2003 representing Aniocha North-South and Oshimili North-South. He is the first Nigerian to visit the South Pole, Antarctica.

Nwoko began his legal career as a prosecutor for the crown and qualified as a solicitor of the supreme court of England and Wales. He worked at Kumars Solicitors and Pascaldiers & Co Solicitors before establishing Ned Nwoko & Co Solicitors in London.

Ned Nwoko married Nollywood actress Regina daniels in 2019 as his sixth wife. A girl he married at 19. On the 31st of May 2020, Ned announced that he has welcomed a baby with his current wife.
