A former Big Brother Naija housemate, Asogwa Alexandra also known as Alex has apologized to a young man whom she cyberbullied on Instagram.
The reality TV star had posted a video on Instagram where she called out two young ladies over their seeming fake outfits.
Following the post, the young man with the handle @Ijoba_fizzy_ claiming to have been with the ladies in question reacted to the reality TV star’s post, blasting her for sharing the video on Instagram.
Alex responded to the young man, insisting that she had taken down the video from her Instagram page.
“Hello lady, I don’t know your personal handle, I would have tagged you but I know you will see this. I’m sincerely sorry about my/our post to you. You are beautiful to me. I really meant no harm and I want to offer my unreserved apology,” she wrote.
“I would love to call you and personally apologize to you once I get your handle. I took the post down immediately I realized how it might have been viewed. Best regards.”Asogwa was one of the housemates from the third season of Big Brother Naija.
Recall that earlier this year, Alex Asogwa, revealed her struggles after battling depression and battles in 2019.
In celebration of the new year, the reality TV star shared that she thought of taking her life at different times in the past year.
“At some point, I had a lot going on, I got suicidal, the bad part about it was that I told no one. I only ran away. Thanks to God, I realized that wasn’t and will never be an option,” she said.
The actress and dancer also revealed how she became broke despite the ‘success’ she has enjoyed since leaving the BBNaija house in 2018. She describes the situation as one of the most challenging times of the past year.
“At another point, something terrible happened and I was down to 16 thousand naira only. I thought my life was over, but guess what, I survived, I never thought less of myself or took a wrong route to come out if it. I never accepted less, and I moved forward.”
Alex further shared her struggle with finding love, and how she eventually found the strength and courage to pull through a very trying year.
“I found love 3 times and lost it 3 times then I locked it up and threw the key away,” she says, adding “My vow to protect my happiness was one of my best decisions and it saved me.”
