The police have arrested popular Nigerian musician, Azeez Fashola, a.k.a. Naira Marley.
Security operatives detained the singer for flouting Federal Government’s guidelines on COVID-19.
The Presidential Task Force had set the guidelines to flatten the coronavirus curve in the country.
Naira Marley allegedly left Lagos State for Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja for a concert during COVID-19 lockdown.
A charter and aircraft maintenance firm, Executive Jet Services, airlifted him for the concert.
The concert held at the Jabi Lake Mall on Saturday, June 13th, and contravened of the directive on social gatherings.

However, the Inspector General of Police, IGP Muhammad Adamu, ordered the arrest of Naira Marley..
The singer reportedly went into hiding until he presented himself to Lagos State Police Command’s Criminal Investigation Department (SCID), Panti, Yaba, on Thursday.
However, the police arrested and detained Naira Marley for questioning over his action.
Afterwards, the police arraigned Naira Marley and his manager on a one count charge at the Lagos State Special Offences (Mobile) Court, Oshodi around 3:30pm.
The two accused persons pleaded guilty to the charge. So, the magistrate slammed a fine of one N100,000 each on them.
Naira Marley, who is not a stranger to controversies, was also indicted when he showed up at a party which actress, Funke Akindele, organised in honour of her husband, Abdulrasheed Bello, also known as JJC Skillz, in April
