Nigerian singer Naira Marley has sign embattled singer, Lyta who recently welcomed a baby with his girlfriend, to his record label.
This is coming after popular rapper, Olamide dropped Lyta from his record label in a controversial way in 2019.
Naira Marley took to micro blogging platform, Twitter to make the announcement.
In his tweet, Naira Marley announced the deal with a picture of Lyta and him signing the documented agreement. Then, he wrote a sentence, saying: “Welcome To Marlian Music, Lyta”.
Lyta also confirmed the signing. He wrote: “I’m so excited to be joining my new family Marlian music Thank you my President, Naira Marley, for giving me this amazing opportunity.”
YBNL Nation (Olamide’s record label) announced its record deal with Lyta on 3 February 2018.
Olamide added his vocals to Lyta’s breakthrough single with YBNL Nation, titled “Time”. And the record label released the song on 14 February 2018.
In 2019, Lyta left YBNL Nation due to contractual and personal issues.
After exiting YBNL, he signed with Doro Musik Gang and released the Killer Tunes-produced track “Monalisa” on 12 July 2019.
