American business mogul and rapper, Diddy has stated that Burna boy is the first artiste on the African continent he has had a working relationship with.
He also revealed that at the time he met Burna Boy, he had prayed to God to bring a positive person in his life.
According to him, the person would above all unite the music landscape from Africa to America.
Diddy worked as an executive producer on Burna Boy’s newly released album, Twice As Tall.
His tweet reads:
“Dear Africa, you have been heavy on my mind and my heart. I’ve been trying to connect to the motherland for a minute, but I never got a chance to do it properly. When I say properly, I mean in a soulful spiritual way.
“But during this time we’ve had off, God blessed me to get a call from my brother Burna Boy.
“He’s the first African artist I’ve been blessed to work with and he didn’t know this. But at the time I was praying to God to bring something to me that would help to bring us all together through music”.
Burna boy’s newly released album title Twice as Tall has been making waves and positive commercial success.
It included collaboration from artists in diaspora. Such joints gave it a feel of multicultural vibes which will appeal to his ever supportive fans.
