Barcelona striker Asisat Oshoala has described the Spanish giants as one of the best teams in Europe.
She spoke after the team progressed to the semi-finals of the UEFA Women’s Champions League.
Asisat Oshoala has played in four Champions League matches for Barcelona this season, scoring one goal against Minsk back in October.
She also played a key role in the build-up to the winning goal, which was scored by Kheira Hamraoui in the 80th minute.
Speaking to UEFA’s official website, the four-time African Women’s Player of the Year rated the Blaugranes as one of the best teams in Europe.
She said, “I think we’re one of the best teams in Europe. Each game we try to give our best.
“Winning games is something that comes from hard work from the team. As a team, we just hope to keep getting better.”
In addition, Oshoala said that the team would give their best in their next game against Wolfsburg.
“It’s still the same mindset, we want to go in and give our best all the time.
“We want to make sure we play good football and try to get through the next round.
“And so, we have to enjoy the moment now and work harder for the next game,” the Barcelona No. 20 added.
