How Maraji’s Boyfriend Dumped Her Last Month For No Reason


Social media comedienne Gloria Oloruntobi popularly known as Maraji has recounted how she was dumped by her ex-boyfriend for another lady.

The Instagram sensation was fighting back tears as she narrated how the break up has adversely affected her.

She made this known via her Instagram stories on Friday, September 11, 2020.

According to Maraji, she was dumped by her ex-boyfriend after being in the relationship for two years for no reason by her ex-boyfriend.

“Recently I was dumped by ex for no reason. Apparently, he likes someone else. It has been a tough month because it happened just last month. It has been a tough month,” she said.

“People have been very supportive of me (interrupts video) sorry people have been extremely supportive of me but there has been this friend of mine who I just made. honestly, he has been there.”

“He is in India and I am here in Nigeria like he always calls me. And it shocks me that why does this person care about how I’m doing. I feel like God blessed me with this person.”Maraji

She went to reveal that the reason she decided to share this part of herself is that a lot of people believe social media is only meant to share the happy side of your life.

Gloria Oloruntobi (born February 6, 1997), better known as Maraji, is a Nigerian comedian.

She started her career making lip sync videos and miming songs. Maraji role-plays in her comedy skits and switches between accents and vocal pitches to suit each character she plays.

Maraji is from Edo State. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in international relations from Covenant University in 2017.

She was featured in the music videos for Falz’s “Something Light” and Yemi Alade’s “Single and Searching”.

Maraji was nominated for Prize for Comedy at the 2017 and 2018 The Future Awards Africa.

She was also nominated for Comedy Act of the Year at the 2018 City People Music Awards. She has gained prominence around the country for her hilarious skits.
